Bacon Wrapped Dates

Ingredients
• 30pc Medjool Dates
• 15ea Bacon Strips, Cut in Half
• 30pc Marcona Almonds, Blanched
Directions
• Using a small knife, cut along one side of the date. Repeat this process until all the dates have been cut.
• Gently remove the seed from the date and discard. While the date is still in hand, add the Marcona Almond and close the hole. Repeat the process until all the dates are done.
• Cut the bacon strip in half then line the half pieces on the cutting board, Cut side toward you.
• Place the Date filled with Almond on the bacon strip. Repeat to process until all the bacon has dates on them.
• Roll the Date inside the bacon and then skewer the Bacon Wrapped Date with a toothpick.
• Arrange the skewers on a Parchment lined Baking tray, making sure they do not touch and leaving space between them for even airflow.
• Place in a 350F oven for 9 minutes. Please note, every oven is different, so the time may take longer than the suggested 9 minutes.
• After 9 minutes or so, check to see if the Bacon is cooked and looks slightly crispy.
• Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Store in a warm place.
Notes: Cook the Bacon Wrapped Dates in Batches. You can prep a bunch ahead of time and cook as needed.
